Moses Mouldey

Original information:
Moses Mouldey was 12 when he migrated to Canterbury with his family (see Edwin Coxhead Mouldey). In 1900, he was living at Doyleston.

Readers' response:
According to the family, Moses (Tom) was born in 1838 in Stockcross Speen, Newbury, England. On November 1, 1876, he married Martha Fletcher (1853-1891). Martha and Moses had seven children − Eleanor (1877-1953), Isaac Henry Fletcher (1878-1921), Frank (b. 1881), Albert Moses (1883-1968), Clement Thomas (1884-1968), Ernest (b. 1886) and Leonard Fletcher (1888-1970).1

Moses Mouldey's wife Martha Fletcher was my great grandfather's niece He came to Canterbury in 1864coming from Cumberland His name was Henry Rothery and the family had a long association with the family and descendants of the Mouldey's.
